Phone not reading simcard

If you removed the sim card while the phone was powered on, it's possible that the card was damaged or the data was corrupted. You can try putting the sim card in an adapter and checking it with your computer. You may have to format the card again, then reinstall it in your phone, then power on your phone again.

Can not use my sim card

#1. is your phone open-line? if it's open-line, it should be able to read your simcard unless the problem lies in your simcard or the simcard connection is defective.

My nokia 6300 can not read my installed sim card, though i have attached the simcard, it is reflecting in cp monitor no simcard inserted. What would be the possible problem?

Hello
The Simcard might gone bad due to some reason, try this sim to other phone, if it not works then issue another sim to your service provider.
otherwise the contact at phone may gone bad, needs repair.

I am pretty sure when you dropped the camera the simcard reader was damaged and can no longer read your cards properly!
The camera can be fixed but it must be sent back to the manufactorer for repair! (this is a common problem when thses type of cameras are dropped or shaken!
I hope I was of help!

Failing to read Simcard

remove the simcard and reinstall it... might have come unseated... also removing the battery for about 15 minutes may solve that as well.

I need my puk code of my phone, not of my simcard. samsung sgh u600. how can i get it back? i need a puk code for my phone just blocked it by accident please help my phone is badly needed

puk code is an eight digit code ,which you will get when you buy a simcard. if you have the packet of the simcard .you can find it in there.and also you will find the pincode.
OR you can contact your network operator for the same with your documents.
OR buy a new simcard.
when you use a new simcard the phone will not ask for PUK code.
