It may have gone into safety shutdown mode if it sensing any DC voltage in the output section of the power amp section. Look at the speaker protection relays to see if it has any DC on the contacts sections that are used for the speakers connections (not the coil winding section).

Hi these pioneers are difficult to work on you are better off taking it to a technician you will save a lot of headaches trying to fix it. If you still want to do it the first thing I would suspect is teh siganl board.

You can get parts for this tv at www.interliquidparts.com

Have you tried going into the menu and searching for this function? Also some car stereo's have a sub menu when the radio is turned off or in stanby mode it usually can be reached by pushing your menu button and holding for a few seconds also again the power has to be in standby mode. if this works look through menu for your problem.

It sounds like a microprocessor that has latched up. Try pulling the AC plug and letting it rest for an hour or two, the problem may cure itself. The end of your message was truncated at ". . . working normally but then it shut . . ." Try posting the missing portion as a comment to your original.

Pioneer PRO-530HD

Its really hard to say if its a major problem or not. I think anytime a circuit part goes bad thats its a major problem, because these sets HAVE NO USER REPLACEABLE PARTS inside so you should call out a trained technician, as theres alot of High Voltage inside these sets and also this is not a place for an experimenter or a handi-person to be messing around in. Your problem if you are a tech and Know the HI voltage saftey issues is most likly in the standby or main power supply... Good Luck
