Here is a direct link to a user's manual for one model of Uniden 5.8 GHz phone:

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/TWX955om.pdf

To view the Support Page or the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, the follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

See page 13 of the manual for instructions on how to adjust the volume of the ringer which should be similar for all those types of phones.

If not you can always look up the manual for your exact model here:

http://www.uniden.com/products/productlisting.cfm?cat=Cordless%20Phones%205.8%20GHz%20Digital

Just click on the picture of whichever model you think is yours and then on the next page click on OWNER'S MANUAL - ENGLISH PDF.

I hope that was helpful to you, good luck.

Adjust the volume

The HP All-in-One provides three levels for adjusting the Ring and Beep Volume and
the Phone Line Monitor Volume.

The ring volume is the volume of the phone rings. The beep volume is the level of
button press and error beeps. The default Ring and Beep Volume setting is Soft.

The Phone Line Monitor Volume is the volume of dial tones and fax tones. The
default Phone Line Monitor Volume is Medium.

To adjust the Ring and Beep Volume from the control panel

1. Press Setup.

2. Press 4, and then press 4 again. This selects Basic Fax Setup and then selects Ring and Beep Volume.

3. Press to select one of the options: Soft, Loud, or Off.

4. Press OK.

To adjust the Phone Line Monitor Volume from the control panel

1. Press Setup.

2. Press 4, and then press 5. This selects Basic Fax Setup and then selects Phone Line Monitor Volume.

3. Press to select one of the options: Medium, High, or Low.

How do i adjust the volume on my panosonic kx tga 131az cordless phone.

With Panasonic phones the volume of whatever function is active can be adjusted with the arrows button. While it is ringing use the arrow up or down to adjust ringing volume. When off hook (you can hear dial tone or you are on a call) use arrows to adjust handset volume.

Call in to Customer Service, listen to prompts for tech support standard customer Service will just Fwd you there, ask the tech that you would like to extend the amount of rings before it goes to your voicemail some providers do it by rings, and i know at&t does it by seconds and if it is by secs good rule of thumb is 5 secs = 1 ring!

Number of rings before answering system goes on

You can adjust the Answer Delay time by going to Menu then DTAD. Adjust the Answer Delay under this menu... 6 seconds per one ring.

If you have auto attendant set up to answer for you in a multiline system, set that delay accordingly. That will be the first system to pick up, You should set up one auto attendant for every voice line coming into your phones.

Ringer Volume

I am assuming this is on a DTU 16D nec phone. On the right side of the phone is a volume up and down button. If someone calls you, you adjust this while the phone is ringing. If you adjust it after you answer it controls the voice volume (what you hear through the ear piece) if you adjust it while the handset is down but there is no one calling you it adjusts the display contrast on the phone.
