930B856003 is the original part number and can be found here:

http://www.moduslinkptstvboards.com/Projection-Boards-C14.aspx?s=Name%20ASC&p=60 in Bloomington, Indiana

I would continue your search online with the part number above if this link doesn't help.

Everywhere I look on the internet they either don't have it in stock or they say it is discontinued. My main supplier does not have one either.

I'm sorry but everywhere I look I see that they have discontinued the part. The only way to fix the set it to find a used tv just like it with bad tubes and a working part that you need.

If I have helped you please accept my solution.

What do I need to fix my mitsubishi TV that has a 2-4 error code (vertical protect)???

I had three tv's VS-50607,VS-50605, same problem.I called Mitsubishi and got no help.Took me two years to find because the sets were not acting up when I was there.Last set was out completly with 2-4 code. Found problem to be cold solder connection of DY (Yokes) on vertical .I bent the tip on my Weller gun and used a mirror and soldered. It was a sure repair.I went back to the first set,and soldered and it repaired it!,The second set got junked out before I could get to it.

Mitsubishi Projection TV Model #VS-50603 will not turn on.

The TV is going into a "protect mode", the micro-processor has sensed a circuitry problem and has shut the set down so that no furhter damage can happen, you will need to have the TV serviced by a Mitsubishi tech. Good luck !

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input/device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source.

Mitsubishi VS 50607 Problems

Vertical output IC most likely needs to be re-solderd. However this model is famous for the CRT leaking coolant in the area of the Vertical output IC and corroding the solder. Check for a sticky residule near the Vertical IC indicating a leaky CRT seal.

Deflection Protect is the problem. You can check C411 and C412 on main board to see if bad. More info ctechnicians.com
