Not drying efficiently. Air moving ok, heat appears to be ok. Would like to open it up to visually inspect it. With event off slight burning smell. Would like to verify clean of lint.

If it tumbles and it heats up but your clothes don' t dry disconnect the vent tube from the the wall and run a load of wet clothes if they dry then your homes venting is clogged and if it still does not dry then it could be your thermal fuse.

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Remove the vent tube at the back run it with that off... If the cloths dry ok then you have a clogged vent Buy a dry vent cleaning kit and clean it out of call a professional to do it.
If that does not help then you will need to do more trouble shooting.
Please provide the make and model number of your appliance when asking questions

I have a dryer # 67832791 and doesn't seem like it heats up and takes longer to dry the clothes. Seems to run fine and operate fine just not drying the clothes.

restriction in the venting, disconnect vent tube, leave disconnected dry clothes and if they dry then clean out vent tube(vacuum, leaf blower, etc). Hope this helped Tim

Dryer control doesn't move on less dry more dry setting and will not shut off when clothes are dry.

If clothes are hot then try dryer on timed dry. If timer does not move then timer is most likely bad . Replace. If timer moves on timed dry it is not getting hot enough to click the cycling thermostat.(If clothes are overly hot above 160 then the cycling therm. is stuck Replace.

Dryer not dring clothes completely

need to check your vent duct. if clogged it won't let the air flow through the dryer needed to dry your clothes.

Our dryer will not dry clothes well - we have to use the time dryer more than the 90 minutes to get our clothes dry. We have it on the highest heat setting.

If you have checked the vent lines and the lint filter something else you can check is the air tube that connects the lint filter with the blower (behind slanted panel above washer lid). There is also a tin cover you must remove under the painted cover. There are no clamps or fasteners to hold this tube in place and a careless service man or a bad move could cause it to become misaligned. If the tube isn't tight against the blower it will **** cold air from the bottom of the machine, cutting down on the amount of hot air it pulls from the top (heater area).
I put three small kinks in the tin panel forming a triangle to make it hold pressure on the tube to keep it tight against the blower.
Good Luck

Heats take long to dry and timer won't move

The timer not moving means that the timer has gone bad. The heating problem may have to do with the timer too. You can take off the vent tube of the dryer and make sure it is not restricted (from dryer to outside) If this is plugged it will also take longer to dry your clothes.

Its a hard reach, but remove the back, unplug the set then remove the two screws that hold the small shelf around the tubes then reach up on the rear panel and clean and dry the mirror,Dont use windex ,just a damp cloth then dry it. then clean the lenses of the 3 CRTs and then also clean the screen with a damp cloth and dry. Remember dont use windex, just a damp soft cloth so as not to scratch anything
