Question about Lucent PARTNER18 Corded Phone

Change password an employe left the company and did not give us the password to his viocemail. how do we change it and make a new one We can't get into a new extension at our office. We've tried many password combinations, but no luck. Can I bypass this somehow?

    This is not a cellphone problem.. The voice-mail is on our office phone system. It is a PARTNER system, originally made by Lucent.

    The employee is nowhere to be found. That is not an option. There must be some way to reset this feature.

You can make your phone work for sure that is 100%,but you have to take it to the service center as they have the perfect de-coding machines.it will not take more then five minites.get it done.it will work.

    Changing your voice mail password

    To change your voice mail password, perform the following steps:





    1.
    Call your voice mailbox from your mobile phone by pressing and holding the 1 key or by dialing 123.





    2.
    Once you arrive at your voice mailbox, press the Star (*) key to ensure you are in the main menu area. To access the password security menu, press the 5 key. To change your password, press the 1 key.

    NOTE: Please make note of your password or type a password that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.

    NOTE: You may also reset your voice mail password and enable password security by selecting the Voicemail Settings link located in the My Account section of t-zones®.

    Why do I always have to type my password when blocking caller ID?

    When blocking your number from being displayed on caller ID, the voice mail system will prompt you to type your password every time you access the voice mailbox from your device. If you do not want to use a password when accessing your voice mail, you must not block the caller ID.

I am trying to change a security code, as the person who was using the phone has left our employment and someone new has moved into the office, but cannot change the security/access code. How do i change...


If you are trying to change the password on a station voicemail box you will have to log into the admin mailbox. Usually the mailbox is 999 and the password is 999997. You will go to option 8 for system admin then option 4 to reset user extension.

Nortel T7316e need to change extention # on phone


You can go to any T7316e phone and do this , press feature 983 when you see log on the screen enter 102 0000 to log on with or 12 0000 this is the default admin password for the voice mail system . it depends if you have a 3digit extension of 2 digit . when you get in you will see three options on the screen above the three buttons , from left to right it will be mbox aa and other press the mbox button then it will give you three more options again from left to right they will be add delete and change press change , it will ask for the extension number , enter the number of your extension . the thing it will ask you is if you want to reset the password , press yes and the press the the red rels button your password is now reset to 0000 . good luck .

call your provider and have them reset it. it may also be an option when you try to call voicemail

Partner 18D System - Voicemail


Your telephone can be used on different Avaya phone systems and you can have different voice mail systems. They all program differently.

Someone should have administrative rights to the voice mail. They can delete voice mail boxes and create new ones or maybe just change the password. If you do not have a phone system administrator, you would need to determine what voice mail system and what phone system you have. All the manuals are available at www.avaya.com

Most likely you have a Partner ACS system but there are different versions. You could also use these phones on a Magix system and other Partner systems.
