I have found that the easiest way to send pictures from any digital camera to a Macintosh is to use a card reader. Just go buy a simple, basic usb card reader for your type of memory (SD, XD, etc.) Then, pop the card out of the camera and into the reader to read it on the Mac. There are fewer software incompatibilities this way, and it transfers much faster than using a cable.

I had my Kodak camera for awhile and haven't had any trouble with it but now i can't transfer any of my pictures to my computer without it saying can't import pictures there is an error

Try transferring pictures bypassing the camera: transfer them directly form the memory card. If the computer does not have a card reader, you can buy a USB card reader in any store selling cameras.

Kodak EasyShare C653 Camera, cannot connect to my macbook

Hello my friend,
The easy way to upload pictures to your computer is to take the memory card from your camera and insert it to the memory card slot of your computer. i'm not sure if MAC has this slot on their computers but you can look for a PC or Laptop to do that.
if you don't have a memory card slot in your computer, you can by an all-in-one memory cards reader which is very cheap.
Best Regards,

Importing Video from camera to WMM

You can always search for a video converter for your camera. As far as I was aware, video files are in a AVI format which should be able to play with quicktime player, VLC media player or even windows media player as long as you have windows codec pack or vista codec pack downloaded.

Can't upload videos to Imovie

Kodak series cameras capture videos in MOV files. iMovie will only import codecs that it can edit. iMovie can import MP4, DV, Apple Intermediate Codec, H.264, Photo JPEG, Motion JPEG, Apple Animation, and perhaps others. MOV is a multimedia container file, not a codec. It can contain any of the above codecs, but it could contain other codecs that are not editable by iMovie, such as MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 so that sometimes iMovie cannot recognize Kodak videos directly.
please try this video converter, good luck. kodak video to imovie
