The outer shell of the thermostat pushes on(clips) to mounting bracket attached to wall.

1. Remove the packing material from the thermostat. Gently

pull the cover straight off the base. Forcing or prying on

the thermostat will cause damage to the unit

I suggest to everyone NEVER to buy a cheap thermostat from any box store regardless of brand. Always go with Honeywell or White Rodgers high end stats and DO NOT lose their booklets.

This is the manual for your thermostat. You probably just have bad batteries. If you pull your thermostat shell off you should see batteries in the shell or base, further, if you have a blue wire in the wires that hook to base, make sure it's connected. The unit could be bad but, they count on the batteries for display and memory.

If you have 24 volt control voltage at the stat, and the battires are good, then you have a malfuntion in the ciruitry and will need to replace it. I have sent you a ton of manuals on there products I thiught they may be helpful. Please dont forget to rate this post as I know you will be kind. I hope I have been of help to you.
