Question about Sharp VC-A582U VCR
Lets try someting 1st.take your VCR off any cable connections & if you can place an antenna in the antenna input.[note:: if you don't have a antenna use a 15" to 25 " (inch) wire ,striped at the tip to connect in the center of the VCR-R\F input] see if u can " scan " for channels.by using the R/C MENU. If not change the cnannels with the R/C and the chennel up\down on the machine.

Sometimes the RC [remote control] has a MENU button that you can "bypass" any channel.Did you use the RC and 'delete' the channels by mistake?
