SOURCE: My Yard Machine Tiller starter rope will not

you can either drill the rivet out, or inside the shroud there are metal tabs that you can bend out, but be careful as not to break them off. Hope this helped Tim

The pull cord on my Roybi rtl30ces will not retract. How do I access to repair?

Hi Kathy - more likely than not there's a little "tab" on the end of the spring that slips it to a tab in the plastic to maintain spring tension.

These break off fairly regularly and you can easily bend the spring steel to a 90 degree to "fix it" and place it back in the tab.

I've included a teardown / rebuild video that should be very helpful when repairing your weedeater - it's a "generic" ryobi video but they're all really, really similar.

I have a ryobi tp30 gas pruner and the pull rope will not rewind. how do i fix this?

Rewind assemblies are typically sold as a repair part. I don't know your pruner, but if you call a Ryobi supplier, they will tell you if this part is available and how simple (or not) it is to install.

Starter cord has jammed

You will have to remove the starter rewind mechanism and rewind the cord around the pulley, then pre- load a certain amount of tension on the rewind spring.

My 2 cycle ryobi tiller won't start. It has good spark but plug is dry. Fuel lines are good and primmer works. Any suggestions? Thanks

Try starter fluid in the chamber and see if it starts. If so, you may need to clean your carb.
