DW911 charge light flashes when no there is no battery in radio

Sometimes when a battery is too low it takes a while for it to initialize in a charger and begin to charge. Clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser and put it back on the charger. Leave it on the charger despite the blinking light. Leave it on the charger for several hours and see if the flash stops and it becomes a constant light indicating normal charging. If this does not work, you may have a short in the battery or in the charger itself. Try another known good battery in the charger and see if you have the same problem. If so the charger has an issue.
Best regards.

I have a B&D 24 volt drill/ flashlight/ skill saw combo, reciently either the battery or the charger is bad, I put the battery in the charger an the light on the charger flashes (even when unplugged)...

If the charger is lighting up its probably the battery. Rechargable batteries have a lifespan governed by the number of charges.
The only sure way of knowing is to have another battery or charger that you know does work.
if it is the battery its normally cheaper to buy another complete drill.

We have bought a battery charger HB 1206S DC6V - 12V 6AMP, but it does not state what is the state of charge do the lightes go out when it has reached changed state or light up please help

Product Detail Model No.: HB-1206S
The item is used for charging 6V-12V lead-acid batteries
Max Charging Current: 6A
AC Power Input: 64W
Output: 6/12V DC 3. 52A
Batteries Capacities: 15AHR-80AHR
Unit Packing: Colorful box
Dimension: 18cm x 10cm x 20cm
G. W. / N. W.: 1. 85KG/1. 75KG
Certifications: GS, CE, BS, ROHS, SAA

Main functions:
(1) The HB-1206S battery charger has the features of convenient operations, reliable safety and high performance.
(2) During charging, if turn up overload, the battery charger will keep itself at normal current and normal voltage with its self-automatic protecting function.
(3) If being short circuit, the battery charger will switch off itself, and turn normal after one or two minutes.
(4) The output current of the battery charger is very stationary, so it can protect the battery charger very well. It only costs 3 or 4 hours to fully charge the batteries.
(5) Indication of charging: the battery charger has 6 pilot lamps. The more pilot lamps shining, the less electric quantity is. The charging process finishes when all the pilot lamps go out.

My Duracell battery charger has a blinking red light.Use to be a constant red then green when it was charged. Now, just red..then blinking red..then not at all.

I had the same problem with flashing red lights. Both sides on a four battery charger. I swapped the batteries to another charger and the batteries were fine. They charged normally. I put some different batteries in the charger and the same flashing light situation. Those batteries also charged normally in a different charger. I looked closely at the back of the charger and, low and behold, "made in China". Why does that not surprise me. The bottom line, it may not be a battery issue.

Casio Exelim EX-Z77 battery will not charge, charger light flashes on and off.

Your battery maybe drained, you can try to leave it in charger for hours( it will take long for a drained batt to start charging) blinking led may indicate that charger is trying to supply current to batt, anyways I strongly suggest you to buy a new one

Batteries don't charge. I have a new battery, and neither of the old or new batteries work in the charger. I get flashing lights only, sometimes red, sometimes green, but in the end, the battery isn't...

Dust getting in the charger is a problem, Try blowing it out with a moisture-free dust remover, found at most any store. Green flashing means improper power, due to dust or power from the outlet, try a differant wall outlet. Red flashing means the charger or battery is to hot and must cool down before it will charge. The charger will not charge a battery if the lights are flashing. Solid Red light means it is charging and solid green light means it is charged. Plug the charger in first before putting the battery on the charger. If the charger has been droped or hit the floor the coil inside could have broke loose and dammaged the charger requiring it to be replaced.

I just bought a pack of Westinghouse solar lawn lights and the lights are excessively dim at night. I know they are supposed to be brighter. They are in very dark places at night that get great sunlight...

Not a solution but -
if you put your batteries in a battery charger (normal battery charger) and charge them, they will work sooooo much better.

Just keep doing this every time they seam to be dull (after many clowdy days)

Ryobi lithium batteries won't take charge

For others with the same problem (flashing red light won't go off)...make sure you FIRMLY PUSH the battery down onto the charger and engage the latches. Simply resting the battery on the charger will not work.

Charging Batteries

This could happen if the batteries have been recently used, and are "hot". Chargers use one, or a combination of, "end of charge" detectors. Either it's timed, detects a slight drop in voltage, or senses temperature. Try waiting 30 minutes to an hour after use before charging. Also, be sure the ambient temperature is within parameters. Too hot or cold (we live up north...gets cold in the garage) will affect the charger.
