My nespresso c190 makes coffee watery

Have you decalcified the machine? They need descaling about once every year - 18 months, and one MUST use the Nespresso Descaling Pack, which is designed for all Nespresso machines. I can't understand why the capsule holder is tight, unless you have used so-called "Nespresso Compatible" capsules, which can cause this. The machines are designed for use only with genuine Nespresso capsules.

How do I descale my Nespresso C190 coffee machine?

You can buy a descaling kit from your Coffee pod supplier, but I simply use a mix of half water and half white vinegar - run this through your machine and it will descale perfectly.

Water leaking from reservoir

I had the same problem. All of a sudden my kitchen top counter got filled with water. The water was leaking from the Nespresso C190 water resevoir at the bottom. Exactly where the reservoir meets the coffee machine base. I had by chance an "O" rubber ring left from a faucet which I inserted at the base of the water rervoir right on the small **** which when it sits on the C190 base lets a valve open in order the water to flow through. The "O" ring was 2 to 3 mm in diameter and about 1 mm thick, You might experiment with different ones until you solve your problem.

Hi my Solis master 5000 digital, grinds a little, then water sounds to be coming out and it does, but not in the cup place, it goes everywhere else and even outside of tray and where coffee grinds go and...

Hi
That is a stripped thumbscrew. You need a new one. When it starts to brew, the stripped thumbscrew pushes up and allows the coffee to fill the head and dredge drawer. The plastic rod that has 2 small hooks on the end and has ribs around the opposite end is your thumbscrew. It holds the filter screen in place. There is suppose to be a small round nut that is molded into the position between the legs with the hooks. If you use the key to tighten the thumbscrew you will pull the nut out and then the thumbscrew will pop out of the brew head. Check the stem of the filter screen. If you have an item that is about 3/8 of an inch long and has a grove in the middle and small bumps on it, that's the nut. You need a new thumbscrew. Remove the old nut on the stem before putting it in the new thumbscrew. Remember it's a thumbscrew, so it only needs to be finger tight. The key is for removing only.

Steam fitting leaks

Hi there,
Yes you require a special spanner which has a slight bend at the top. You can get them at most hardware or mechanic style stores as it is a type of tool mechanics would use. I believe it to be either a 16mm or 19mm. Once you have a tool that fits, hold onto nut inside boiler and unscrew the steam assembly in an anti-clockwise fashion and remove. there will be a brass washer and nut which will probably fall into the boiler. Remove these from boiler and if you go to www.theespressoshop.co.uk and click on the la pavoni machine on the right it will take you to a full parts list where you can purchase a new washer and nut. Then just re-attatch in opposite fashion.
I hope this helps.

All the best

Single handle Delta Kitchen Faucet

The red/blue cover just hides the screw that allows you to remove the handle.

Turn off the water :-)

Remove the handle, you will see that part of the faucet is a large half moon nut. sometimes you can loosen these with your hands, but most times you will need a tool. To avoid damaging the finish with the tool, use smooth jaw tools or protect the nut with a thin piece of rubber/cardboard etc between the jaws of the tool and the nut.

You can then remove the ball/stem, the washers and springs.
Replace the stem, washers and springs and reassemble just as you took it apart.
Be carefull that the little "nipple" lines up with the notches properly.

Take care that you know exactly how it came apart and which direction each prt was facing.

Water leaks from the top of the C190 Espresso Machine

in our case the problem was fixed easily: the metal piece in which the capsule sits is screwed in on the top. When it became loose our machine started to leak water from the top. So the problem was solved by retightening it!
