Hi,
Yes it is completely possible to downgrade to Windows XP Professional, however to do so, you must purchase a Microsoft Windows XP license key and have access to the install media. Microsoft themselves have stop selling Windows XP, but you can find many legal copies through outlets such as this one:
http://www.discountmountainsoftware.com/miwixpprosp21.html?cmp=gp or you can Click Here.
Hope this helps. If it does, please accept and rate the solution! Contact me with any more questions you may have. Thanks for using FixYa!

Free recovery disks for hp pavillion zd8000 with windows 7

As far as I know, the original zd8000 operating system is Windows XP. If you have Windows 7 installed, then you need to get Windows 7 disc and its product key. If you need the Windows XP reinstallation media, then you can use HP Windows XP reinstallation disc only (for example: HP Windows XP Professional with SP2 disc).

I am unable to install windows XP. is it possible to install windows XP along with the Windows 7 that is already installed........ suggest me asap

If you want to have both windows 7 and windows xp installed on your computer, it is advisable that you first install windows xp. You should allways install the oldest windows version first. To install windows XP on your computer you need the installation cd. Boot your computer with the Windows XP installation cd, maybe you have to enter bios to set cd to boot first. If the OEM is not making a driver then your probably out of luck. You may have to go back down to Win XP or sell or return the item. Not all manufactures have caught up with Win 7 drivers so you need to make sure there is a driver for the equipment you purchase.

I have recently purchased a new tower which includes Windows7. I have a Canon N650U scanner. I am having trouble installing it. Please help!

Unfortunately the manufacturer has chosen not to support this scanner under either Vista or Windows 7. If you have Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you can install the XP mode (a virtual XP computer). You will probably be able to install the scanner in the XP machine. The drivers are listed as being for Windows 98 and Windows 2000; I have never found any Win2K device that didn't install under XP.

You may need to save the images to an external media to transfer them from one "machine" to the other.

I hope this helps.
