SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Power light and extra rinse rapidly flashing

Sounds like a cold water supply fault which could be the solinoid valve, the water turned off, a kinked or twisted cold supply pipe or a wiring fault. Check out the error code sequence here. You never said what make or model you have (the error codes are only for Hotpoint, Creda and Indesit machines)

IBM ThinkPad T30 starts up, then turns off

Motherboard is damaged I recommend ebay for a board of that type, there is no simple fix I own three T20s and when one did the same thing I just replaced the motherboard that solved the problem. the lcd screen and inverter were fine.
based on the non powering issue now I would say the MB is shot, replacement will give you a few more year use however for a reasonable price.
