My camera 1st sucks and i barely use it

I don't really use my c533 camera much and now when i try to use it the green light blinks...and then it freezes ... some times it will go on and seem to be working fine...then it will freeze...other times ill turn it on and it will go sraight to the time/date screen...it says:Date and time have been reset (Set Date and Time- Cancel) and it will be froze on that screen...
sometimes if i let the camera stay on it will start to work ,for a second then it will shut off...other times I've tried to get it to work it won't ,it will just be froze and it won't even turn back off...so i have to take the batteries out ..

i think its just running really slow..and its my first camera ive had....and it sucks because i waisted money..
