Question about Audio Players & Recorders
It depends on the condition and who you find to buy it. if it is in new condition and you can find a collector that needs one its worth about $400. if its just a normal used stereo and your selling it on craigslist you would be lucky to get $50-$100. for it. unfortunately they weren't amazing stereos and they are not all that collectible at this point in time. you usually see them in free adds or by the side of the road. If you hold on to it for another 30 years, it should be worth something though. :)

I look for these all the time and to be honest with you if I had the money I would pay four hundred for it because it would be worth it to me im not a collector, but I would expect showroom new condition, I would expect something that was almost never used, just played once in a blue moon to keep the turntable from freezing up,
And I would expect it to have a turntable on one side an am\fm stereo with eight track and a cassete player not the eight track adapter that you put a cassette into but an actual built in cassette player and a separate Eight Track tape deck also built in with the biggest tv they ever put in one, and the original owners manual but sinc the likely hood of me finding a console stereo with all that, and in perfect condition/aka not in need of a single part or repair without a scratch or tear or nick or dent and in the Oaklandpark Florida/ Fort Lauderdale area is slim to none, and since I dont have that Kind of money to burn on a stereo thats that old, and probably nobody would want to carry it up 3 flights of stairs I would be waisting my time and yours i've wanted one of those since i was eight years old im thirty seven I have a condition which could lead to throat cancer called barrits esogophogus and im living on a fixed income/ part time job and disability and may be moving in the very near future, all be it in the same general area, im in a wheelchair and i doubt the people who would be moving me would want to lug something that heavy back down three flights of stairs, plus I would have to get rid of some stuff to make room for it.
And with my income being what it is, the most I would want to spend on something like that is 150.00 even in immaculate working condition.
And most people who have money like $400.00 to burn on something like that are collectors so i would sugget you find a professionally collector who wants one as bad as I do and spends that and more on antique collectibles all the time, cause your average rich guy has a hell of a lot more to spend then $400.00 but he manages to stay rich because he doesnt want to spend any of it and a poor guy like me even though I've wanted one as described above almost all my life isnt likely to spend $400.00 thats close to a third of my total monthly income.
