Access your system in safe mode and run sfc /scannow. Once your system is back to normal working, scan and clean Windows registry using some reliable software such as Reginout cleaner. Thanks

Assuming your using windows, it likely means that your windows os files are corrupt which requires you to repair the OS.

Have your computer boot from the CD and from there it should be a GUI interface that will take you step by step to repair Windows.

Again if you provide more information about your PC I can further assist you.

Alienware M14x stuck on windows starting scren, the video card driver seems to have been disabled

Try going in to Safe mode. This loads the basic drivers and if you have a problem with hardware, it will still open up Windows.
Turn on computer and immediately press F8.
Any hardware issues will show up in device manager.

Once windows vista updated itself, now my computer freezes and doesn't want to even boot up...anything I can do to fix this?

Remove the ram memory one at a time and power on each time, if this fixes the problem you have a bad stick, if this fails! restore computer back to a earlier stage before this update occured.

When i move my Gateway W323-UI1 it freezes

that's BAD! it sounds like there's something loose inside your laptop. the only thing i can suggest is flip it over, unplug the power cord, remove all the panels from the back and the battery and shake it and see if anything falls out. while you're in there make sure that you ram chips are securely installed.

The computer was woeking fine this morning but is now asking for admin password

If you have an administrator account (even if you don't try putting in Administrator and leave password field blank) try using that account to reset the password, otherwise try one of the following:

- see this for XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321305
- or this for Vista/Win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/What-to-do-if-you-forget-your-Windows-password
- or if anything else didn't work you can use third party software from Hiren's Boot CD to reset your login password http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/Hirens.BootCD.12.0.zip

Is your phenom Phenom-X3-8450e or AMD-Phenom-X3-8450 ?
8450e is suported by that mobo but in the asus suport page you wont find 8450.
Check here https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A785M/HelpDesk_CPU/
8450e runs on 65w and 8450 runs on 95w.
Does your mobo run with your old CPU?

when it first trys to start up press f11 and click analyse and recovery or something like that. this should search your laptop and find any errors which wont let it boot up. and then delete or solve them. 9 times out of 10 its a virus.

My PC computer

Hello,

freezing cause by sever virus infection and Hard drive error, if virus infection, virus can be eliminated but the system become slower, and if the hard drive error (bad sector) sometime can be resolve but most of that error HDD put to the bin.

anyway, if this cause by virus infection then, boot your computer in "safe mode with network " option by pressing "F8" at first start and then scan your computer for viruses, you can use online scanning here: http://www.precisesecurity.com/antivirus/online-scan.htm

if same issue occur, then better backup your files or save your picture in flash dive or any removable drive. and reformat and reinstall the windows operating system.

pls do not rate me if my solution not solve the issue and you need more further information. but if is invaluable solution rate me fixya.
