SOURCE: phono output went dead, help!!
It is almost impossible to replace the outputs on a devices once it's fried. There is more internal stuff that goes along with it most of the time vs. just the output portion of it. If it doesnt cost too much most places will check it out for free and then let you know the costs and let you decided from there if you would like to or not.
I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer to see who is legit to repair this product as if it was under the warranty, which even if its not you can at least contact those people independently in order to better resolve this issue. Otherwise use google maps to track someone down in your area to contact.
Again, just to warn you it might be an internal board vs. just the output panel. I've seen this happen before with plenty of connections on different devices both audio and visual...it can be pretty heft price to replace and some times you are better off just upgrading onto a new model vs. paying out the costs to fix it.

Install your audio driver for your motherboard.
Go to Asus Downloads
In the "Input Model to Search" box in the upper left, type your motherboard model. (P6T)
Click the Search Info button.
You will get a page that has 6 versions of the P6T motherboard. Select the correct one.
A window will open asking for your operating system. Select it from the drop-down menu. Click Search.
The list of available drivers will open. Click the x next to Audio.
There are 3 choices. 2 are for Reatek and 1 is SoundMAX. I would try the top Realtek driver first.
Click on the "Global" link to download it. When the Download window opens, Save it to your computer where you know how to access it after the download. For ease, you can select Desktop and save it there.
After the download, close all programs and run (double-click) the file you downloaded. Reboot after the install.
Should this driver not work, comment back and we'll try the SoundMAX.
