Cpu fans starts and ends in 2 seconds

Check that a 4-pin power-cable (2-by-2 layout) from the new power-supply is connected to the matching socket on the motherboard (or maybe to a high-end video card).

If the motherboard cannot find a video board, it will not run. I would try another video board.

My computer stopped working. I replaced motherboard and power supply. Now the solid amber light is on . The computer sounds like its starting up and the fan turns on. After about 10 seconds the fan gets...

Make sure that you connected all of the required power connectors on to the motherboard. Depending on you motherboard, there might be a 4 pin connector next to the CPU that supplies extra power to the CPU. Also if you have a dedicated video card (not integrated to the motherboard), it may need more power as higher end video cards need direct power from the power supply. Also make sure you have your monitor connected correctly.
With that said, I have a feeling that it is the 4 pin CPU connector since it is easy to miss.

Freezes every 3or 4 seconds

Let it run all the way through, then rerun it. With the computer cache having the whole video it will no longer freeze

Computer turns on and beeps

Have you recently changed any hardware or BIOS settings? Is it one beep for 8 seconds or 8 beeps? If it's 8 beeps then that indicates a bad video card. If you are not using the on board video then try re-seating the video board or try a different video board.

Monitor goes blank less than a second after turning on.

do you have an aftermarket video card. In the bios you have to tell the computer if it is looking for a agp/onboard or PCI video card. Either that or the video driver or settings are wrong Try safe mode to check
