SOURCE: Have a Hitachi Video Brain CLU-570PR. When I try

Hi, did the remote come with a manual?if it does, that means you will see the user's guide for the remote about the instruction and the different functions it has.

Also i guess the remote is not a universal remote or the reote is not the exact one for your system. It might not work properly with it...All buttons will not function properly..

Check those and get back to me..

Vcr hi-fi light blinking

You just have a dirty main video head. You can get a head cleaner tape or you can buy a tin of Servisol Video 40.
To clean with the Servisol, remove the top cover of the VCR. You will see a big shiny video head. Spray that head with the cleaner. You can also wipe it over with a cotton bud if it is very dirty. It's a good idea to clean all the surfaces that the video tape touches. If you don't know which, when you first take off the cover with the VCR on power, put a video tape in a press play then watch where the tape runs. Eject the tape, then clean with the spray and a cotton bud. You can even spray the cotton bud and then clean with that if you are not happy just spraying into the unit.
Make certain that the sprayed areas are dry before trying a video. It dries very quick anyway.

Having trouble hooking old VCR up to new LG TV and Integra Receiver. Feel like I'm missing a step...

Look at the back of the tv. What is it labeled at where you plugged the VCR into. Should probably say composite in. After that's verified, go into the tv menu and make sure you have selected composite input. Should be no need for any settings on VCR, it has to be settings on tv

Hi. I am using a Panasonic 4 Head Hi-Fi Stereo Omnivivion to convert VHS tapes to DVD. It appears that the tracking needs adjusted, but I do not see anything on the unit to do this. Can you help?

Normally the tracking control is on the remote control. Some models do use the up & down channel selectors on either the remote or the front panel of the VCR. If you don't have the remote, the best way to test if it is these controls on the front panel, is to start a video playing a hold down the up or down key and watch to see what happens. If they operate the tracking, the tracking should go way off (do it on a video that is tracking well when first playing).
PS don't forget to clean the video head every so often (Servisol video 40 spray is best for that).
