I am having a problem with sending embroidery designs to my PC. It tells me I have a broken packet....What is that. I also need to install the JSMC850 driver that came with my Janome software.

I reinstalled the software and found the driver. I was able to send one design over and now its doing it again. I am baffled.....I reinstalled all my programs as I done before and it still says broken packet....I believe than means something is missing in the file....but why.....what did I do.....besides disconnecting it for awhile.......Pat

Tajima embroidery tech support

Did you recently break a needle while using the embroidery machine? Check for foreign objects (like part of a broken needle) in the rotary hook. Then press Set to reset the machine. Remember to turn off the machine and then unplug it before doing any maintenance. If there are no obvious foreign objects, the rotary hook may have been damaged by a bent needle. It may need to be replaced.

I hope this helps.

How do I transfer design pictures from my PC to my flash card. The flash card will hold embroidery designs for use in my embroidery sewing machine

The flash drive/card will appear in the display from "My Computer"
The way to copy files from PC to flash drive is the usual "select" (with a Left-click), then
drag-and-drop paradigm of Windows.

You can create directories/subdirectories on the flash drive if you need/want them too.

List of importantprotocols & their explation

A network protocol defines rules and conventions for communication between network devices. Protocols for computer networking all generally use packet switching techniques to send and receive messages in the form of packets.

Network protocols include mechanisms for devices to identify and make connections with each other, as well as formatting rules that specify how data is packaged into messages sent and received. Some protocols also support message acknowledgement and data compression designed for reliable and/or high-performance network communication. Hundreds of different computer network protocols have been developed each designed for specific purposes and environments.

Will embroidery designs from Dakota collectibles website that are tajima format work with my machine.(Duetta)?

Why wouldn't you ask Dakota collectibles?  Moreover, why would you care as long as you can find free software for your PC that converts designs from format to format?
