Question about Sanyo DS24425 24" TV
You are discussing about the antenna socket of your Sanyo TV. Sanyo has two types of fittings to this. The first type is the socket is screwed to the back cover of the set and a shield wire will go to the tuner of the set from it. The second type is, the in socket of the tuner itself [look like a steel metal box inside] will be projected out through a hole at the bac cover.
If your TVs connection is the first type, you can purchase a ne antenna socket and can be fitted on the same place and rewire it as it was. If it is the second type, tuner as a unit should be replaced. You have to desolder the present tuner out from the set and buy a new one and solder it to the same place. The number of the tuner is very important when buying it, and it will be printed on its cover itsef. OK>
