It sounds like you may have a weak signal issue or cell tower issue.
First, try relocating the the router to a different place in the room.
Call your ISP of the wireless signal and see if they are having issues with that connection.
Long term fixes may include buying a device to boost signal strength, antenna/repeater or amplified device.
