Question about Computers & Internet
Te solution to this problem is to reinstall the drivers for your network card, depending on the operating system that you are using.
This code means the device was not installed completely.
To resolve this issue, follow the recommended solution. If that does not work, try removing the device from Device Manager and using the Add New Hardware wizard to redetect it. You may need to obtain updated drivers if the error still occurs.Check if you dont have the drivers and utility disc, if not you will have to use another machine to log on the internet and search for the drivers, If your machine has got enough resources to run windows 7 (as in the ram above 1gb, Processor preferably duo core and enough starage space) windows7 will detect all drivers for your machine.

The Code 28 error is one of several Device Manager error codes. The Code 28 error will almost always display exactly like this:
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"
Details on Device Manager error codes like Code 28 are available in the Device Status area in the device's properties: How to View a Device's Status in Device Manager.
