Here are three ways:
1. If on the same network, create a smb share on the macintosh, map the share on the windows system.
2. Format a usb drive on the macintosh using disk utility as a FAT partition. Copy the files to it. Dismount the drive. Mount the drive on the windows machine.
3. If both have access to the Internet, crete a free 2GB DropBox account. Drop the files in the dropbox and it will be copied to the dropbox on the windows pc.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to Move emails from Outlook mac 2011 to Outlook Windows 2010 ?

Outlook mac archived files cannot be imported directly into windows outlook. Its a default error from Microsoft, as outlook mac supports .olm file format whereas windows outlook support/import only .pst files. So in order to get you outlook mac emails in windows outlook you need to convert .olm files into .pst.

Here is a link with the same issue, might help: Convert Olm file to Pst

Thanks

Why is my mac start up disc full?

Hi,
Have you tried emptying the Trash for starters?
The downloads folder also can get large with downloads you have forgotten about and may not require, delete any files in there you do not require.
If you have a large Video library consider archiving some of your video to an extrernal disk, dont forget you still need a backup of them.
There are applications in the App store that will find they largest files and directories. With one of those you can determine where the congestion is and what you can remove.

Please Follow instruction:-
A> some temp file deleted.
B> Download folder check it, if not required file delete.

Thanks,
Mac Support

My mac powerbook is slow

Welcome to fixya, I am also a Mac user. There are a number of reasons that may cause a Mac computer running slow or freezing to boot up, but generally two factors: hardware part & system part. For hardware part: I guess it's OK if your Mac is not that old. For system part: there might be a lot of junk files, caches, registry errors... out there which largely slow down any Mac machines. about 80% slow Mac caused by this reason, if so, try cleaning the system. I am trying to trasfer a large amount of files from my macbook to a dell laptop. The mac will recognize the drive and i am able to backup and save files onto it, however when i plug the drive into the...

The problem most likely is the Dell does not recognize the MAC file format (HPFS), but the MAC will recognize the PC's FAT 32 file system.
First format the USB mass storage device using the Dell, format this device in FAT 32 not in NTFS because the MAC can read and write/copy PC format files but the Dell/PC cannot read MAC format files.
Then Safely remove this device, connect it to the MAC and copy the files onto this drive. When you connect this device to the Dell, you will be able to see the files.
Have fun.
