Question about Microsoft Kinectimals for Xbox
Hello, Dennis. Thanks for your question.
There's a couple of things that you can try. First, if the XBox is in an entertainment center, please try pulling it out of the center and placing it on the floor. If the XBox overheats, it will freeze, and they tend to overheat quickly in an entertainment center.
Then, you didn't specify if the game was new or used, so go ahead and take a look at the disc to see if there are any scratches on the back of the disc, or fingerprints, and the like. If it is scratched, that may be causing the freezing. If there are fingerprints, try wiping them off with a microfiber cloth(like what you would use for eyeglasses).
Another thing to try would be to clear the hard drive cache on the XBox's hard drive. To do this, go to My Xbox, scroll to the right to System Settings, select Memory, highlight any device and press the "Y" button, select "Clear System Cache", and then select Yes.
Let us know how these work. Best of luck!
