I don't have internet access and seem to have lost my connection to my Linksys Wireless-G. What do I do?

check your wireless router if it is turned on.
see if it is getting a signal from your cable or dsl connection.
you can also connect via cat 5 from your laptop and see if your getting a IP on the WAN.
reset your cable/dsl modem if your not getting any signal or IP address.

If I reset my dynex G router using the reset button; 1) What will be my default password? 2) Will resetting the router affect the hard wired connection?

the default ip is 192.168.1.1  username admin password admin or leave the password blank.
hardwired you mean is utp cat 5e cable? known as internet cable, which using switch hub.
well, it will affect if the wire/cable you mean is came from the router you reset.
the wire and the access point  came from the modem is still active.
do not reset your hardware if it is also your modem. Because when you reset it, all configuration of  your modem will be lost, including your user name and password provided by your ISP.

Linksys Wireless-G2.4 GHz Broadband that my laptop doesnn't recog

You will need to check the wireless settings of the router
is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check all the wireless settings of the router.

If that doesn't work then upgrade the firmware of the router.
Firmware is the software of the router. After upgrading the firmware, it is recommended that you should reset the router and reconfigure the router.

Belkin N Wireless router no longer has hardwire signal

There would be a reset button on the dotted side or at the rear end of the router.
Keep that reset pressed tight with a paper clip or a needle for 3 minutes with power plugged in. When you are pressing it, you may see the lights flashing on the router. After releasing the reset button, after the lights come up, unplug the power cable and plug it back in after 1 minute. After this if you have the CD, try re-configuring it for your internet service.
In this issue, there are two possibilities, either the IP address is 169.254.xx.xx or else it may show as media disconnected due port speed negotiation.
The above mentioned fix is for 169.254.x.x issues, and media disconnected issues occurs rarely.
But this will fix your issue 99%, but for 1%, you can always get in touch with me with more details like model #, number of computers, etc.

Thanks n regards,
Irwin..

Lynksis Wireless Router does not stay connected to the Internet.

I suggest checking the documentation of your linksys router in the linksys site. Get the manual and that would tell you how to set it up. Regarding the router being broken, it is possible. Are you wired or wireless to the router?

I tried to reset my security password and now it won't work.

Make sure you have the physical connection connected properly.

-Modem should be connected to the Internet/WAN port of the router.
-Your laptop must be connected to port 1 of the router as well.
-Make sure you can go online hardwired to the router.

Then configure the wireless settings of the router by accessing the router setup page http://192.168.2.1, change the wireless settings.

i assume that your computer can access the internet while hardwired to the wireless-g router. if so, you just need to connect your wireless computer to the wireless signal of the wireless-g router. you just need to scan or view the available networks detected by your wireless computer and select the wireless name (ssid) of your wireless-g router. make sure to enter the correct wireless security (network key) if it's enabled on your router. i hope this'll help you but if you can't still access the internet wirelessly, provide the specific model number of your wireless-g router, specify if you're using a laptop or a wireless desktop, and the brand and model of your wireless card/adapter

if u are trying to go online with hardwired connection, you can try chaning the ethernet port or cables. If you are trying to go online wireless, then try to login to the router and then reconfigure the wireless part of it
