Hello i have a Generic Ideo 50cc scooter, last night i spotted an oil leak the tube had come away from the carburetter and i carn't see where to reattach it. I said take it to a mechanic but my dad wants to save money so i have to do it myself if possible. please help =)

Most 50cc bikes have three tubes plus a fuel line from the gas tank to the carb. There should be a tube from the battery, a tube from the carb and a tube from the gearbox. All three tubes are just vents to the atmosphere. Chances are the tube in question is the one that vents the gearbox, hence the oil. Please rate my answer.

should be no need to empty the tank as it is still engine oil and will not affect the engine performance
look elsewhere for the problem like low/no fuel, problem spark plug or coil , blocked main jet in carby etc

Hello i have a longia 50cc scooter and everytime the choke kicks in the power cuts off can anyone help thanks .. [email protected] email to this thanks ..

. i suspect the choke has a short in it or a bald spot on it and when it kicks in it draws power from the cdi unit also make shure the wires are not reversed on the choke i would check that first
