Cycle starts, but does not fill with water

When I start a new cycle, I first hear the pump run to empty out all remaining water, and after that I hear the motor run for the regular washing cycle, but there is no water in the dishwasher. After a few minutes, the cycle stops, and the washer claims the dishes are 'clean'. When I try starting a new cycle over and over again, about one in 20 times, the cycle will run normally with water. But then the next time, the problem starts all over again. Once a cycle starts correctly, everything works fine, including the rinsing.

I HAVE A LUMINOX 3100 I THINK IT LOOSES TIME IS THIS A SIMPLE FIX?

If any battery operated watch starts losing time or displaying the incorrect time, this is usually indicative of a battery going bad and needing replacement. My Luminox 3100 started lagging in time and I noticed that the second hand would intermittently stop. I also have a Suunto Vector (Digital) wrist-top computer and the times along with the compass, altimeter, light and alarms all started to act crazy and all it happened to be was the battery being run down. Coincidentally the Suunto has a battery gage that only appears and flashes during low battery charge.
BL: Try the simplest thing first, change your battery. Please be very careful not to break the O-ring on any watch that's waterproof/resistant as this will render the protection useless. Also if your watch is still under a manufacturer or vendor's additional warranty, get them to change it as not to void your warranty. 'Hope this helps!

My camera worked fine but now I get an error message to press shutter release again. When I press it again the message remains. Nothing is working now.

Try the reset button with camers ON. Next, with camera On, remove batteris, wait a minute and replace. If there is a camera hardware rest button, give that a try. If that all fails, then exam by authorized Nikon Service Center is in order.

My Kodak Z650 camera just won't switch ON. I used the camera a few weeks ago and it was working fine and after using it, I removed the battery and packed it away for next use. The next time i tried using...

Hi there Make sure the new batteries are fully charged before used. After that remove the memory card & try to power on. If its not ON then i suggest you remove the battery & check the that place for any sulfur layer( green colored ) are there or not. Just clean that place & put the camera in sun light for 10 minutes. Because some time moisture make short the circuit board & that's why camera would not turn on. If its a moisture problem then after those operation it will start working. But if your camera power supply converter are damaged then its not possible to repair at home. So go for all these basic treatment & after that if you not success then i suggest you please visit Kodak service center for replacement or repair. Thanks.

Luminox camcorder Model LXDVC3130 won't start!

Hi lianehinds,

I have the same Luminox camcorder Model LXDVC3130. I bought mine some months ago, but tried it for the first time yesterday. I found that from time to time the camera locked up in such a way that the battery had to be removed. I think the answer to your problem is probably the same as the answer to mine.

The battery is very sloppy in its battery bay and what I'm guessing is that the battery is moving away from the three contacts at the top.
My suggestion to you is:-
1/ Lightly wipe the battery contacts with a tissue.(Do not use any liquids!)
2/ Physically hold the battery up against the 3 contacts in the battery bay,so you know the battery contacts are pressing against the three pins at the top. Whilst doing this try pressing the on button and see if the camera springs to life. I hope so!

If it does then probably the best thing to do is find something non metallic to place at the bottom of the battery to nudge it up against the three contact pins. I'm going to try a small piece of sticky foam in the bottom of the battery bay rather than on the battery, so the battery can still be placed in the charger. I hope this works for you.

Replaced the renata #371 battery with a duracell d371. The watch still doesnt work. It working fine when i put it up on the shelf a week ago then just stopped. Is it the battery type?

Could be a duff battery - this does happen - even to duracell.

Try another battery - try and get a renata as was originally in the watch. Luminox usually use the Ronda swiss movement - which are pretty bulletproof movements. (i've got 2 Luminox - nice watches, prefer these of trasers)

If you don't get any joy with another new battery - send to the recommended sevice / repairer on Luminox website - prices are not that bad and you can specifiy exactly what you want done so it should not cost the earth - all prices are there to see.

Battery replacement

The date may be off by 12 hours.  This would cause it to change at noon, and not change at midnight.
Try forwarding the time or reversing the time 12 hours in the correct direction.

Make sure the battery contacts are clean. The rechargable batteries looses their charge even when they are not in use. It is important to fully charge the first time the rechargable batteries.

Sounds like there could be a bit of foreign material floating about inside, or the new battery was not up to scratch. Take it back for checking.

Luminox 3001 watch not keeping time

Because of the way they work, it's quite hard for quartz movements to run consistently slow - so if you find one getting behind, it's usually a sign that it's stopping intermittently. It would do no harm to check that the crown is properly pushed in after you've reset it, but my guess is that the watch will benefit from a new battery. A.
