    Restart your computer>Press DEL Key
    Go to BIOS Settings>Advanced>Video Configuration

    1. Change "AGP Aperture Size" from 64 Mb to "128 Mb or Higher"
    2. Leave "Primary Video Adapter" as "Integrated"
    3. Change "Frame Buffer Size" from 1 Mb to "8 Mb"

and then press F10(i.e., Save changes and continue).

Sometimes, for the first time you may see screen not aligned properly, in that case just restart once more and Windows 7 will automatically adjust the alignment for you.

Also, you can change the resolution to your desired one manually as follows...

    1. Click "Start Button"
    2. Right click on "Computer"
    3. Select "Properties" option from the context menu.
    4. Scroll down and find "Disply Settings" option and click it.
    5. Adjust Resolution Size and Mode.

This is what you are looking for. You're going to want the VGA driver, second one in the list.

Hope that helps!

Ibm thinkpad r31 windows vista video drivers

The OS will ,USUALLY, apply a generic driver to the Graphics Adapter, and most essential components. Not always, but usually, when it boots the first thing you do is Windows Updates. You may have problems with some hardware when doing a OS upgrade. It can be tricky. If, say, you jump from XP to 7, you may be able to use vista drivers. Your in luck, on the ThinkPad R31 support website Vista and Win 7 drivers are available, SEE: Go with Win 7, if you have that option.

I need ethernet driver for EMACHINES T2682

This system comes preinstalled with Windows XP and only XP drivers a re available for download. They are not guaranteed to work with Win 7 or Vista but may.

The Ethernet driver or LAN (realtec) driver can be downloaded by clicking here.

  1. Its a zip file, extract it in any folder.
  2. There are three files, one of which is .INF file.
  3. To install the LAN driver open Device Manager from Control Panel.
  4. Locate the ethernet controller.
  5. Right-click on it and select Upgrade Driver.
  6. Choose to install manually.
  7. Then select pick driver from computer.
  8. Browse to the folder and point the installation to the INF file. It will install it automatically.
You can also find other (audio, video etc) drivers on this website. Just select your desired computer from the list.

Display adapter

You will have to get a "Driver" for your Video Adapter. This WILL be a problem as there probably isn't one. There may be one shot, try this. Download your Video Adapter's XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop. You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP. Right click the .exe file and select "Properties". Then select the tab called "Compatibility" Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted. Now apply the settings and run the installer. This should work for most drivers, but not all
The drivers are here INTEL, right at the bottom.

Blurred pictures on monitor

The problem is not the monitor, it is the display adapter (Video card) of your system needs a valid Vista driver. (NVidia, ATI and Intel are the 3 largest Graphic card manufacturers) Monitor drivers are almost never needed except on some advanced large LCDs.

You said up upgraded to Vista, did you use a Vista upgrade DVD or just perform a clean installation of Vista? Have you installed Vista Chipset drivers? The chipset and Graphics drivres may not be native to Vista, you may need to install them.
