If you are using a satellite system, have you unpluged the satelite receiver for 30 seconds? Try that first. Second, be sure your tv is not on mute using the remote control. Thirdly, be sure in the audio menu that the speakers are ON. Lastly, the worse problem would be the main board (the board that has the tuner or coax connection) If the main board, do a search with the model number on Google or Ebay etc. for price and availablity.

I have a acoustic solutions lcd37762hdf television ,the screen turns black and white after 30 minutes while watching sky through the television ,but is ok while watching dvds and the freeview

Check you video leads, there may be a bad connection on either end. Removing and replacing may fix it otherwise I would suspect the Sky box as the TV uses the same decoder for most of the video inputs except HDMI of course or S-Video.
Hope that helps.

Can't get sound on tv but dvd and radio work.

Sounds like an install problem. All of your inputs (audio and video) should run through the BOSE and then only the video out needs to run to the TV. In this way the BOSE is the sound source for everything
