Hi,

Backup your data first and try to reset factory settings. If not working then go to nearest Nokia mobile repair station.

How do I open the lense cover

sir,
the sliding type lens cover is not so easy to remove, you have to open the whole camera, then remove the front portion of the body then it is easy to dis assemble.
dirt or sand go in side this will obstruct the lens, use contact cleaner spray to loosen this, be care to fix the magnet in which is helping to switch the power on when this cover slides.

Opening the case of an hp d515 p 1.8 SFF

If you have the slim design with a gray faceplate there are a couple of different ways they open. The first thing I would do is look on the back and see if there are three screws .. one along the top about the middle of the computer then along each side on the outer edge also centered. If you have those, unscrew all three and slide the cover to the front. Another version has two buttons, one on each side near the front. You may have to work the cover back and forth a little as you push the buttons, but you will feel when they depress. While holding them in, slide the cover toward the front. The third design has the front faceplate pop off and there is a screw along the top in the center. Again the cover slides to the front.

Hope this helps.

I have a minolta x-300s film camera, the diaphragm control lever ( the lever at the bottom when the lense is removed that controls the mirror) is stuck to the left (meaning the mirror is up or away) when i...

Try this before spending money on anything:
Open the camera front and back: ie, take off the lens, open the back door.
With clean hands, put fingers in from both front and back.
VERY GENTLY slide the shutter curtain to the side, as it would do if the shutter release was working.

In my case, when I let go of the curtain, the whole situation resolved itself, the mirror went back up into position and the winder and release both started working again.

How to install new lcd screen

Installing a new LCD is fairly easy in this model.
#1 Remove two bottom screws
#2 Remove four side screws
#3 Slide off silver side panel on the left Front side of the camera
#4 Carefully remove front cover (careful to pry off from the top)
#5 Flip over front cover and release the power panels ribbon cable from the system board
#6 Flip over plastic protector
#7 Remove Back Cover from LCD side
#8 The LCD is being held by 3 ribbon cables.
(This next step should be done very carefully - damage can occur if it is done incorrectly)
#9 Release the middle ribbon cable by carefully flipping up the black portion of the clamp.
Equal pressure should be applied to the full black portion when attempting to flip open.
Do not use excessive force.
#10 Release remaining cables and remove LCD.

To assemble just reverse the steps. We have color diagrams available just ask.

Thank you

How do I open the battery door for the Nike Coolpix L20 camera?

Slide the catch on the door toward the back of the camera and then, holding the catch in place, slide the door toward the right side (the near end) of the camera.

Card locked

When your camera says the card is luck and you can not captured. Open your camera and get the memory card, look at the memory card you can see there a small push button you need to slide that to unlock the memory card. Insert the back back to camera and try to take a picture if it can captured.

How to replace replace battery door kodak c743

to replace the battery door you will need to disassemble the camera. remove the six screws (#0 phillips) on the sides and the bottom, two per side. make sure the batteries are removed and the door is open, whats left of it anyway. slip the front of the camera off, you might need a small flat screw driver to help separate the halves. with the front off remove the screw just above the view finder and the one by the battery compartment in the corner. now pry the back off, start with the side by the lens. the usb jack will not let you slip the back straight off so you will have to pry the lens side down a bit and then push it toward usb jack. with the back off you can remove the remains of the broken door by sliding the pin toward the negative symbol on the camera, watch for the spring. reassemble in the reverse order. when putting the back on slip the usb jack into its hole and make sure that it is not pushing against the inside of the case.

Lens will not retract

In my case, there was dust in the switches that sense the cover movement.
  1. Close the sliding door and wait until the lens is drown inside (timeout).
  2. Open the screws that secure the front cover.
  3. Remove the sliding door covering the lens. There is no trick (hidden screws etc) so just use the force. The door is mounted by two-sided tape and adhesive.
  4. Remove the front cover. This is also mounted by two-sided tape / adhesive in the center, so you have to be a bit brave.
  5. The sliding door rails and the movement sensors are now visible. Clean all dirt.
  6. Try the door functionality.
  7. Mount the front cover after the lens works as it should. Close the screws.
  8. Mount the sliding door.
