Question about Watches

1 Answer

I cannot get the alarm to shut off. The #8 tells you to press the #10, but to no avail. Are the written instruction for the ladies analog on-time talking atomic watch, or a PDF i can download?

The face says "on time" on top and "talking watch" on the bottom. On the back it says "Made in China" DC 03/09. The watch came with no paperwork, I tried looking it up on the web and on a sit ez deals direct.com it had a product code:06-1009. The watch is plain, with a large white face, black letters, and leather band. It is a talking atomic watch. A button next to the #8 gives instructions for all functions, that state to push the button next to the #10 to make any changes. The button next to the #2 tells the time, and the one next to the #4 tells the date. Thank you so very much!

I cannot thank you enough for going out of your way to try to help a total stranger. You are a great person, and I wish you everything good. Believe it or not, about 15 minutes ago, my husband figured out how to shut off the alarm! I told him he deserved to be canonized.(lol) So, as I do not want you to waste your time trying to help me anymore, now that the problem is resolved, I'm sure there are a lot more people out there looking for help from the kindness of strangers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I wish you only good things in your life. Take care of yourself!

How do i set the time and date on my watch?

Hi,

This is direct link to all ARMITRON watch manuals/instructions: http://www.armitron.com/watch_instructions.asp

or

You can also try with this approach. This is for Armitron WR 330,but i believe this could also help you.

The following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an analog watch.
"ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00.
To set the time, date, and day of week:
Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.)
Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero.
Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button: minutes, hour, month, day, day of week.
Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting.
Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.

Thanks for using Fixya. Please rate the solution.

Can't adjust the date on a digital watch

These are the instructions for the AD0721. They might apply to your model, too. I hope this helps:

http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/6784/manualr.jpg

The analog setting of the watch takes place by pulling out the knob (kind of tough) and adjusting, like a regular analog watch. The analog and digital displays are will NOT stay in sync, unfortunately.

Good luck.
