Question about livecareer.com
I've researched this online and LiveCareer has a notirously bad system setup. They purposefully make it easy to join but hard to get out. Their phone line works intermittently. Your best bet, so you have a written record as well, is to use the form located here: Click Here.
Also, on that same webpage, on the right hand side, is access to their live chat. If you happen to be there during those hours, try going that route as well, since it seems it has a good chance of getting your subscription canceled and any excess charges refunded.

SOLUTION HERE!! i just did it myself.Log into your account at Livecareer.com go to the upper left hand corner and click my account then click settings. then you will click the subscription tab and click unsubscribe and ignore all the writing go to the bottom and click unsubscribe. and you are unsubscribed!!

This is resume site is not worth anyone's money and time. ive been getting charged every month almost 40 dollars from this company. simply because i took a free trial. now hopefully after i cancelled my subscription i will not get bothered from this TERRIBLE company.

Easy to unsubscribe, just go to the upper right hand corner on your main pageand click on "My Account"Look on the left side of the page and click "Subscriptions"next page click on "cancel subscriptions"you can print a confirmation number off for your records.takes about one/two minutes --- you can also use the live chat

I heard about this site oddly enough through my current job (shh don't tell) ;) but I think the site is fantastic and that is coming from a complete perfectionist!! I did cancel my membership now that I have had it for 3 months or so but I appreciate everything it provided from the creative templates to the creative word suggestions. :) Don't knock the site because you did not read the fine print about what happens after the trial.... if you got charged multiple times you probably should have cancelled. Not trying to be rude but its the truth.

I noticed I had 4 different charges from them on the same day for odd amounts ($0.03, $0.03, $0.95, $1.00). I did sign up for the free trial, and I cancelled my subscription but I now noticed those charges. Give them a call guys. It took me awhile to get through to someone (25 mins) but be patient and you\'ll finally get through, I\'m sure they do it to frustrate you and you just hang up. Don\'t try the online chat, I waited 45 minutes to no avail.

These people are evil. I never even subscribed to anything. I used an email address to use the career assesment. Then I asked them to unsubscribe me from all the spam as the unsubscribe button did not work.
It took a while because I emailled them accidentally from a different account to unsubscribe, but someone managed to remove my email.
Then I started getting more emails to the other account. An account that has only ever been used to email customer services.One I never gave any permissions to recieve emails from, there were no terms and conditions to tick or untick, There was never a subscribe request for that email.
This one they refuse to remove.
I have been emailling them for months and they keep claiming that they cant remove an email because they dont have an account to look up. I keep telling them there is no account and they keep insisting that I give them an account number.
Most of the emails are standard bits of text that have no relevance to the problem. They think I should phonethem, but there is no further information to give them.
I dont belive the staff can be this ignorant by accident, this is a company who think there are no repercussions for this bad behaviour,
I suggest noone uses this company as they obviously dont care about their reputation.
