Question about Garden
Look on the motor or in the instruction manual for the specifications of the electric motor. You are looking for an item called FLA or full load amps. If this number is below 15, you can use a 14 gauge extension cord, between 15 and 20, you need a 12 gauge extension cord, between 20 and 30, a 10 gauge extension cord, though that range of amperage is highly unlikely. Yes, you can get those cords at lowes or home Depot, just tell the assosiate what size you need,or the amperage on your motor, and find one in the appropriate length to meet your needs.
