Question about Sanyo VPC-X1250 Digital Camera

1 Answer

I have a Sanyo digital camera, model: VPC-X1250; it now takes blurry pictures where you can't tell what the subject is even when i am inches away from the person's face. it also turns on, makes a noise then pulls it's shutter back in as if i have turned it off (it usually does this about three times in a row), and it will sometimes say "error" and turn itself off. it has no water damage or anything so i really don't know what the problem is, please help.

Hi According to your information, somehow your camera has lens unit defective. Your local repair shop would charge around $ 35 to 75 depend on what really want to charge. Thanks and best regard!

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

How do you charge a sanyo VPC-T1495?

My wife got this for Christmas. The battery was installed from the manufacturer backwards. After looking inside I noticed 3 pins that matched the connections on the battery. Flipped the battery around and viola. I'd bet other people are having the same issue.

My picture is blurry or out of focus.

ake sure your subject is within the camera's range. You should be at least 20 inches away to take a picture without the flash, and 20 inches to 8 feet away to take a picture with the flash. You can take a picture as close as 8 inches in macro mode. When you take macro close-ups, make sure you have adequate lighting (with the flash disabled). Using a tripod will help you capture sharp pictures. Make sure you hold the camera steady after you press the shutter button (until the red light starts to flash), and your subject isn't moving. If you are shaking the camera when you lock the focus, a warning icon appears in the right corner of the LCD. If you want to photograph a moving subject, you can change the shutter speed while the camera is connected to your computer. Try increasing the shutter speed. See Chapter 4 for more information about how to change the shutter speed from the LCD menus. Make sure your flash is not set to flash off. When you focus on a nearby object, your picture's background may appear blurry. Try changing your focus.
