Did you install the game from your first cd/dvd drive? If you have more than one that is. Some of the older games put the path of the cd as an actual location, so if you installed this from your G: drive cd/dvd and then added another bit of hardware like a harddrive, then the drive letters might have got changed. You could look at the games .ini file and see if there is any reference to cd paths and change it to reflect where you have it inserted. Just make sure you make a backup of the file before you make any changes just in case something goes wrong.
Star Wars Rogue Squadron had the same limitation where it would keep asking for the disc, so I had to just keep trying my other drives till I hit the right one.
Hope that helps.
Cheers from NZ, neighbour :)

Where can I get a free download for windows xp 3 ksuser.dll?

The ksuser.dll file is one of many files contained in the DirectX software collection. Since DirectX is utilized by most Windows based games and advanced graphics programs, ksuser.dll errors usually show up only when using these programs.

Resolution
Important Note: Do not download the ksuser.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are a number of excellent reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea.

Note: If you've already downloaded ksuser.dll from one of those DLL download sites, remove it from wherever you put it and continue with these steps.

1. Restart your computer if you haven't yet.

The ksuser.dll error might be a fluke and a simple restart could clear it up completely.

2. Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX. Chances are, upgrading to the latest version of DirectX will fix the ksuser.dll not found error.

Note: Microsoft often releases updates to DirectX without updating the version number or letter so be sure to install the latest release even if your version is technically the same.

Note: The latest version of DirectX should be installed no matter if you're running Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP. The installation may include DirectX10 and DirectX9 files but they run side-by-side without problem on all of these operating systems.

3. Assuming the latest DirectX version from Microsoft doesn't fix the ksuser.dll error you're receiving, look for a DirectX installation program on your game or application CD or DVD. Usually, if a game or other program utilizes DirectX, the software developers will include a copy of DirectX on the installation disc.

Sometimes, though not often, the DirectX version included on the disc is a better fit for the program than the latest version available online.

4. Uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again. Something might have happened to the program files that work with ksuser.dll and a reinstall could do the trick.

5. Restore the ksuser.dll file from the latest DirectX software package. If the above troubleshooting steps haven't worked to solve your ksuser.dll error, try extracting the ksuser.dll individually from the DirectX downloadable package.

6. Update the drivers for your video card. While it's not the most common solution, in some situations updating the drivers for the video card in your computer could correct this DirectX issue.

I cant download directx 8.1 what should i do???

DirectX is freeware. You can do a Google search using "directx 8.1".

Have you tried one of the following sites?:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=4938
http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads/directx-8.1.html
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/DirectX_8/
http://www.oldversion.com/download-DirectX-8.1.html

http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/directx-80a.html

Note:
DirectX 8.1 is for Windows 98/Me. It is the highest release of DirectX that will run on Windows 98 or Windows Me (later versions such as DirectX 9 will NOT run on these versions of Windows). Windows 2000/XP/Vista users should get the later release though.
Best of luck to you, from 11407336.

Installation Arts & Crafts Fisher Price (Problem)

I actually have a WORKING solution!! This is the e-mail that Fisher Price Customer service sent to me after 3 calls to them, 1 to Microsoft:

"After review of the logs you sent to us, your video card NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 was last updated on 5/16/08. Please contact your video card manufacturer for an updated driver. Also, inquire if your card is compatible with DirectX 9 and DirectX 10. The Digital Arts and Crafts Studio requires DirectX 9 or higher to operate. You will then need to sign on to your computer as the administrator and update your video card." (Make sure your video card is compatible and the drivers are up to date.)

"Go to http://www.update.microsoft.com/ to scan your computer for necessary updates and make sure you check the "Software Updates" that are available. (Not just the critical updates) You will want to download and install ALL updates relating to the .NET Frame work. (Including the newer versions)."
(I just went in and installed all the updates that were waiting for me- except for things that I know I don't want, like the new IE)

"Your DXDiag is showing a DirectX error, please reinstall DirectX from the DACS installation disc.
Insert the DACS CD, and then cancel the installation when it starts.
Go to My Computer, locate the DACS CD, right-chick to Explore, locate and click into the DirectX subdirectory.
Locate the file DXSETUP.exe and launch."
(Check to see what version of DirectX you have. Even if you think it's up to date, it may be a good idea to install the version on the CD...)

I believe either reinstalling DirectX or the Windows Update saved me. I'd been having issues with Windows XP before this because remnants of my Windows 98 were hanging around and ruining things. Something in my DirectX had been creating errors as well, even though it claimed NO PROBLEMS WERE FOUND...

I don't know. I just did everything, crossed my fingers, and now my little sister has her Arts & Crafts Design Studio! I hope if anyone is still checking this, this solution helps them, too.

Too slow

the only way to improve graphics is to upgrade your graphics card and ensure that you have enough system memory and proccesor power to run the game as it should do. If you have a 32MB or 64MB card then maybe you should go for atleast 128MB
