Whatever Webcam brand you have will certainly have a Website with a "Support" or "Downloads" section. Most sites have you type in the model name and type and will provide you with the files necessary to configure your system. Download the files and burn them to a CD/DVD and you should be in business. Hope this helps.

Connect my microsoft life cam to my computer

Usually all the webcams are plug and play, so you can simply connect the webcam and start using it, else follow the below mentioned steps: 1. Insert the installation disc into the disc drive of the computer. The setup program should automatically run, but if it does not, browse to "My Computer" (click on "Start", then "My Computer"), and double-click on the disc drive.
2. Follow the prompts to install the driver and included software.
3. Insert the USB cable that is connected to the webcam to an open USB port on the computer. The setup program should prompt the user when the webcam should be connected.
4. Follow the prompts to complete installation. Once the Installation is over, open the software and start using it.

I bought a new computer and It already has a webcam but I can only use skype. How can I install logitech? Can I use the webcame which came with the computer? I have the disc. Thank you, Elayne Mangad

Hello Elayne, yes you can install the logitech if the disc is for your operating system, if it isn't, you can always download the version for your windows version from them. Always insert disc and only plug in when the install program tells you to, if it doesn't then plug it in when the install has finished.

If your new computer has windows7 it might automatically detect your logitech camera when you plug it in.

If you have both cameras set up you can select which one to use in skype from the video section of the options screen (tools>options>video)

Its like i have everything plug in but its says i need a disc but i don't have a disc for it

Hello, I believe a disc came with it that makes it to tell you insert a disc. or maybe the disc was inside when you bought it. May a file is missing from the system that should have made it work.

I have a wireless notebook computer and was wondering how to hook up my webcam

Most webcams are USB, so just plug it into your computer and it should recognise it, or maybe you got a software disc with it, in which case install the disc first and attach the webcam to your USB port, hope that helps.

Hey,
Follow these steps...
1. Plug your webcam in the port(usually USB 2.0 port) 2. Insert your driver cd in the cd drive. 3. Restart your PC. 4. It will detect the new harware( your webcam) and start installing the driver. 5. When the driver installation is over, you can start using your webcam!

How to install my cam

Hi,

Just plug the webcam in and windows will automatically install the drivers, if it asks for the drivers just insert the disc, when you do this windows will auto play the CD so just shut down the auto install program and leave the disc in the drive and carry on with the driver installation manually.

Cheers
