Question about Toshiba A135-S7404 Notebook

I bought a toshiba A135-S7404 from a friend and I can't change get to the control panel to change the account settings. Can anyone tell me how to do that? It keeps telling me "access denied. I may not have the appropriate permissions"

You need to get the password from the friend.

If you cannot get the password from him then you can get a free password recovery tool from the internet. Download it to your computer or use a separate computer. Use it to make a boot disk (instructions should be included with the download)

Should allow you to find out what the admin password is and either remove it so you can update or change it.

If you want to change your password

During the boot up process you will see on the screen press delete to enter set up

Press either delete or f2 during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password you can change or remove your password from there

Speaker worked now, but microphone failure


HI,
Go to computer control panel do sounds properties there is option called recognisation go to that option and check if Microphone is not disabled.
