I have a Nokia N95-1 that will power on, but not boot up. It just has a white background with a blue nokia logo. The phone's IME is registered in China, therefore Nokia USA will not fix. Is there anyone who can help me or can I send it somewhere to get repaired. I really like the phone so I would like to get it fixed. email @ email@example.com

Turn off your phone. Hold volume down+power+camera until phone vibrates and NOKIA logo appears. Then release the power button, but continue to hold down volume down + camera until boot completes. Your NOKIA lumia has been hard reset. All data will be lost.
Possible that the software of the phone is corrupt or a possible hardware is defective.
You can remove the battery and memory card, have the card scanned for virus. replace battery after 15 minutes so that the phone is reset.
if the phone wont boot back the services of the Nokia support must be sought for reinstalling the software.
Try this method, remove your memory card, then boot it again, if it didnt work you have to format it. Here are the steps. Turn off your phone, then press and hold *3 and the green or call button, while pressing and holding it, press the power button or power it on, wait until the logo of nokia appears before releasing the buttons. Hope this helps...
Do a full phone format: 1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 of your battery charge. 2. Switch-off the phone 3. Press & hold the Green Dial key, the star ( * ) key & the #3 at the same time and switch on the phone 4. Do not let go of the keys (except the power button) until you see the fomatting message After a few minutes, the phone will boot up.
Try removing the micro SD (memory) card. Then turn on the phone and once the phone is on and working fine, insert the memory card. It worked for me. It seems to be a problem with the memory card or with some application that doesn't allow the phone to boot up. See more possible solutions at this page. Rgds Matias
Common problem on 7610 and other nokia symbian. If nokia logo blink more than 3 times after power on the phone, that's a software problem, ( phone wont boot to its operating system ).
You can try to hard format the phone. Here the way , press ( *,3 ,and call ) buttons togeteher while you pressing power on key. Hold on about 15 seconds till nokia logo blinks 1 time, and formatting message appear on LCD screen.
If dont work, you must reflash ( reinstall ) the operating system using proper repair tool and software, many service shop in asia have this tool.
Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * (star key) & no. 3 key and then press the power on/off to swtich on the N70 phone. release all the keys after you see NOKIA logo blink to white and wait until your phone re-boot..
