How to stop leaking

The best solution for this is to pour out the water when you're done with it. The manual suggests that you set the iron to "dry" setting and then open and close the steam control to push out remaining water, all to prevent scaling. (Do this with the iron unplugged)

Possible water leak

you probably need to call a technician if you have water leaking onto electrical parts. if you're game, unplug water, unplug power. look for your leak and plug it, problem solved. if your washe has been getting louder recently, this leak could be coming from the seal inside the machine, and you will need someone to do this job for you, as it is quite involved.

My refridge is leaking a little bit out the bottom .No hose lines are leaking. What could it be?

as a general rule for refrigerators with top freezer compartments, if you have water
leaking under fridge it usually is the drain line exiting the freezer compartment.
This is accessed by removing (usually 4) screws on the back panel and pulling
the panel forward and unplugging the fan, sometimes it is necessary to remove the
fan seperately and carefully unplug the fan.
in the center there will be a hole exiting the freezer, sometimes with an aluminum
wire in it to help keep the hole de iced. clean this hole out and squirt a turkey
baster or two of hot water in to check drainage. listen for the trickle under the fridge.
Remember to pull crisper drawers out and remove water as it has accumulated below.
If the temp control assembly
goes all the way to the back of the fridge, it may also have a
built in cup which clogs. It detaches by removing 4 screws and pull forward and
down then unplug the unit and slide out. Make sure to unplug unit before servicing.

Water intermittently leaks from dispenser for past few months.

Try unplugging the water control valve on the rear of refrigerator on the side that turns on the dispenser. If while unplugged you continue to get dripping water it would point to the dual water control valve being defective. Tell me what you find, Sea Breeze

Water leaks into the bowl after clothes havve been removed for awile

Unplug power and see if water still leaks in. If it does, it's probably the valve.Water valves can become corroded or clogged causing slow leaks. Most are easy to replace and cost under 50$. Hope this solves it- Thanks---ED

Had the unit for seven years, it started to leak water around the water valve. Bosch aqua Star 125x ng

You have to fix this leak around the water valve before
it causes damage to your equipment.
1. Close the water supply valve going to your tankless
water heater.
2. Unplug or close the natural gas valve.
3. Now, you can work fixing the leak.
4. Once completed, you can proceed to open the
natural gas valve as well as the water supply valve.
5. Then, have it tested to get it done.

Icetube leaking water inside freezer and outside back of freezer

Your refrigerator needs a new water valve and possibly some new water tubing. You can find the correct part by going to and entering the refrigerator's model number in the parts search field. When you have the valve, shut off the water to the refrigerator. If you're not sure how to do that, just shut off water to the entire house. Be sure to run the kitchen sink after you shut the water off to relieve any presure and double check that the water is completely shut off.

Be sure to unplug the refrigerator before you start this project...water and electricity aren't friends! Using a 1/4" nut driver or socket, remove the cardboard or metal cover off the back of the refrigerator. Follow the water line to the water valve, unscrew the nut going to the valve, and remove the water line. There are 2 screws holding the water valve to the refrigerator cabinet; remove the screws and gently pull the valve out. Unplug the electrical connectors and remove the water lines. Take the new valve, connect the water lines and electrical plugs, screw the valve back into place, attach the water line and turn the water back to to test for leaks.

Since the valve has been leaking inside your freezer it would be a great idea to clean out your freezer and let the water tube and lines thaw. Find a place for your frozen food, unplug the unit and let it sit overnight with the doors open. Don't forget to remove the ice bin, as these make quite the mess when the ice melts. Once it's thawed, plug it back in, make sure the water is on and not leaking and enjoy!

Kenmore elite coffee maker

Unplug & remove the bottom panel of the coffee maker. This will expose two water hoses that go into & out of the heating element. Usually the hoses leak from where they attach to the element as this expands & contracts and collects water deposits. Clean ends if this appears to be where the water is coming from. With it unplugged put a couple of cups of water in the maker over the sink and check to see if the leak is still apparent. If it doesn't leak...Empty the water, put back together and run a cycle of water through it. I would also at this time run a few cycles of distilled white vinegar solution through it. Good luck.
