Question about Dynex Televison & Video

1 Answer

After 30 to 45 minutes of operation the screen starts to flash with a light background and colored lines from top to bottom. This begins slow and gets faster . When the unit is turned off and left alone for some time and then urned on again it runs normally again for 30 to 45 minutes and then begins the same problem.

Also, does the sound remain after the symptoms appear?

    Thanks for the response.

This symptoms indicated of faulty either the LCD controller board or the main board. The main board process the image through the IC MSD119CL/BL and then feed to the LCD controller board. LCD controller board process it also and then feed to the LCD Panel.

Since the sound is stable, high chance that the fault came from the controller board. You may confirm it by touching the IC's of this board. If you feel that the IC's gone to excessive heat upon the symptoms appear, this is an indication that the board gone bad and caused the symptoms.

I'm not sure if you're unit has a built-in fan, if no fan installed, this is one reason why the symptoms appear.

Check also the power supply for bulged electrolytic capacitor, if you found it, replaced this first and observe if the symptoms still persist. Also give the unit proper ventilation, keep away all obstruction from the fan/vent to have a sufficient air flow.

    Hope I helped you.

    Have a nice day!

    Thanks for using Fixya.

Note : Check also if you're unit is still under warranty/extended warranty, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free, opening the back cover will void the warranty.

Blue Vertical Line

It is sounding like when the laptop is turned on and heats up a bit, the line appears? Sounds like one of the panels is going bad or atleast has developed a problem. below are some tricks you can try to lessen the annoyance of the line. Dual-Scan STN displays are composed of 2 panels behind a single protective panel or screen. Because you are looking through the protective screen the display appears to be one large panel even though it is not. There is a physical separation line (gap) at the point where the two panels meet. When the computer is on and being viewed it is not unusual to see the visible separation line with the Dual-Scan STN displays. The line, actually the fine gap between the display panels, appears because the color and light pixels cannot run along the very outside edges of the panels. This line (gap) between the panels can be seen as a fine gray line and is most noticeable when viewing on a screen with a white or light background. Note the line may not be as noticeable when the screen is displaying certain colors or darker backgrounds. SUGGESTIONS: It is not possible to completely eliminate the line but there are some things you can try to reduce it's visibility. 1) Lower the display brightness/contrast. The brighter the backlight the more noticeable the line. 2) Use Wallpapers and Screen savers that use darker colors. 3) In the Control Panel/Display applet under appearance try different combinations of color schemes for your Window and Background choice Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim

Riding Mower No Start Troubleshooting

  • First check the air filter to see if it getting air and gas.
  • Check your gas cap. If your gas cap is clogged, your fuel tank can get a vapor lock, and you will have no gas flow. Loosen the gas cap to see if it will run longer.
  • Check the gas filter (if you have one on the mower) to be sure it is clean and has good gas flow.
  • Check to see if you are getting spark at the plug. Check out the video below.

If the engine clicks but will not start, the battery or solenoid is often to blame. To find the battery on a riding lawn mower:

  • The battery may be under the hood
  • The battery may be located under the seat
  • You may need to lift the hood to find the solenoid
  • Check the owner's manual for the battery or solenoid location

Check to see that all wires are securely connected and that the terminals are clean.

If the lawn mower still does not start, the problem may be with the fuel, if it was left in the mower over the winter months the fuel may have become stale or watered.. If the fuel appears dirty or contains water, you will need to drain the fuel tank and replace with fresh gasoline.

Other reasons for the mower not to starting also include:

  • Damaged or loose wiring
  • Problems in the carburetor
  • Maladjusted or damaged engine valves
  • A blown fuse
  • Ignition switch may be faulty

How To Reset Your Mobile Phone

ohms_0.jpg
You can return your phone to its original state, as it was when it left the factory. This is also called a hard reset. You might want to do this if you are giving your phone to a friend or relative and you want to remove all your data first, or if your phone has a persistent problem that is not solved by powering off the phone and then powering it on again.

A factory reset is a drastic measure. It permanently erases all your personal data and customized settings, and also removes any programs you have installed. Make sure that you have backed up the information and files you want to keep.

As different phone models have its own reset procedure, view complete list here.

How To Find Motherboard Drivers

How To Find Motherboard Drivers:

Here is a real world example on Fixya.com of some one having a problem getting drivers:

Question:
I need drivers for my FC GIGABYTE 8vm533m-rz motherboad

That is a some what a perfect question, the brand has been given and the motherboard modal number has also been given, so finding the drivers will be a peace of cake !

First of all, always go to the makers brand website, in this case we would go to Gigabyte's official website located here

Next, go to support & downloads;
Then copy and paste the motherboard modal number ( in this case is 8vm533m-rz )
From there we can get the drivers, located : HERE
locate the bios update: HERE
and that crucial mobo manual we all seem to lose: HERE

And that's the very basics, the same method would be used for every motherboard. Mostly all manufactures are happy to provide the drivers and support software on there websites.

Hope this helps some one out there.
