Kindly checkout the file format of the picture, and get that format of software downloaded from internet. This problem is presinting because the file type is not supported by your phone or your can upgrade the software version of your phone.

If you check in your owners manual, it will tell you that movie formats are not supported. See quote from your owners manual below (so basicly only picture and music formats are supported on your USB input).
"Only FAT (DOS) formatted (initialized) portable memory is
supported. Errors in this formatting can result in unreadable
content. If such problems appear try to re-format the card. Be
aware that formatting the card will also delete all the content on it (pictures, music, ...).
The following file types are supported: .jpg, .jpeg, .mp3, .alb, .m3u and .pls."

Camera is telling me the memory card is locked

Make sure the memory card's slide lock is not set in the lock position. See: http://www.samsung.com/us/system/support/content/2008/04/07/h621/Card%20locked2.jpg
if you're unsure about the memory card's lock.
Please leave feedback if this was helpful.

I took pictures on my camera but the memory card was not in it. How do i retrieve my pictures?

The way it works with my camera is when I connect it to the computer with a memory card in the camera, the computer sees the contents of the memory card only, but when I connect it with NO memory card in the camera, the computer sees the contents of the camera's internal memory.

Try removing the memory card from the camera, then connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable.

Want to copy some files to a memory card from a laptop but it says that the memory card is write-protected. how do i remove the write-protection to copy the files.

Some memory cards are having a write protection switch integrated on the side or on the back of the memory card for preventing the content from being erased or overwritten by accident, just like floppy disks. Both SD Memory Card and xD-Picture Card have their write protection switch on the side of the memory card in contrast to the Memory Stick PRO and some Memory Stick Duo that have their switch on the back of the card.

The SmartMedia Card is also supporting write protection but not with a switch. For protecting the SmartMedia Card's content you need to put a sticker on the card's write protection pad. It is the circle that can be found in the middle of the card, when facing the front of the card.

Card keeps reading memory card full and won't let me take any pictures. Put a new memory card in and gave me the same message.. What can I do to fix..

Format the card. To do this put the card into the camera, turn the camera on. Then scroll through the menu until you find the format function. Format. If it warns you that the card's contents will be erased you must proceed to use the card. If you want to save the contents of this card either get a new card or transfer the contents to your computer. J.

CAN'T RETRIEVE PICTURES FROM MEMORY CARD

Hii

  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

  • Thanks
