Question about Cell Phones

3 Answers

I have a Toshiba Strata DK280 system I just purchased used. I need to reprogram the cabinets to send all 6 of my CO lines to all extensions and remove any programming of CO/Phone groups. I purchased the system to upgrade my DK16 because I really just needed more extensions. All of my phones need to function on the same group. I already have the tech manuals for the system and the phones, so I just need some specific instruction on how to reprogram the DK280 to remove Group restrictions, at least to start.

Thank you for your quick response. I made a stupid mistake... my system is a DK424, not a DK280. Do you have a comparable site for the 424?

    Thanks! Luke

    I erroneously noted that my system was a DK280. It's actually a DK424.

Oh, you are good. I will start with the manual you have posted. I only had the hardware install manual. Very, very good. Thank you!

In the simplest form, if you put all extensions in group 81, they would ring immediately on incoming calls. Work out your delays in 82 if you need them.

Your other problem is not as easy. Start with the LCR description and make sure it's turned off. Now you're not fighting someone else's ARS tables. Program 40 and 51-1 control that. Then look at toll restriction. The trick, is if you take all your lines and define them in 45-2 as exempt from toll restriction, you don't have to leart anything about it :-) Problem solved.

Ths ought to get you started with basic call handling.

Big difference. Start with a manual. Strip the right hand side and you can get any and all Toshiba manuals you need. http://www.wedophones.com/Manuals/Toshib...

Please download me instructions on how to change time in our Toshiba Phones at work with Model No. DKT2010-SD. Also I am requesting a Manual for the Toshiba DKT2010-SD phone system. Your tech support...

Changing the time on a Strata DK system must be done from the "main" or primary phone. It is usually extension # 10, or # 200. 1.- With the phone on-hook, dial intercom, #, 652 (depending on the system type, the # may or may not apply) 2.- Enter the correct time using HH/MM/SS, like 07:24:00 3.- Press redial As far as the system manual goes, I'll need to know the type of system you have. Toshiba DKT2010's work with a number fo different Toshiba systems. To find out, go to where the phone system is located and look at the top corner. It should have a number designation there such as DK 40i or DK280 etc.

We have a phone system Toshiba Strata DK40 with phones dkt2020sd and dkt2010h and we need to know how to make some of the phones ring as they do not all do that. Can you help me with that?

I know this is old, but to help the next person.... On a DK40, you program from port 000, not ext 205. The DK280 is programmed from ext 205. The other info is correct.

Trying to download a users guide for the toshiba KT-2020

The DKT 2020 was used what a few different Toshiba systems. Users guides were referenced to the model and version of the systen rather than the model of the telephone. With that in mind, here's a link for a DK280 system, Most of the features should work ok.

Do you know

Wow, an oldie but a goodie. A DK-424 with 10 button sets....doesn't quite seem right, but the card is a 4-port trunk card (C.O.) without Auto Busy Redial.

Your base cabinet 424 can expand to 16 trunks and 32 phones in that cabinet.

Paging

If you have access to system programming you need to go to Program *30 and delete the phone you want out of the page group, also there is a seperate program, Program 31 LED 10 that controls the ALL CALL Page feature, this also needs to be turned off. If you do not have access to programming you will need to call your vendor to correct the issue.

Need to set my time on my phone

I think this feature is dependent on your system - the phone display is in agreement with the entire network. Check to see what system your phone is on - ours is a Strata DK-280 - and then search Google to find a total solution to changing time.

Toshiba Strata DK280 Conference Phone

Are you talking about a special speakerphone that is not made by Toshiba? This would be a single line phone device not a proprietary Toshiba phone and you would need a special card in your system that can handle single line devices. You may already have one that has a free port on it.

However, it does sound like you would need to find help from a local phone system installation company. You cannot plug a single line phone into any phone port on your system. A special wire would need to be run just for that phone and the system would need to be re-programmed for that port. If you need a single line card it will be even more complicated.
