Question about Teac MC-DX32i Shelf System

Open Question

My TEAC MD-DX32i stereo suddenly stopped working. No lights, no clock, no apparent explanation. This is my second one in three years, with similar issues. I've tried the standard ways to check on this, but it apparently doesn't respond to anything I try. Saw another post on the site with the exact same problem, but no solution was listed.

SOURCE: MY dx32i SYSTEM WILL NOT TURN ON. No sound, no

Can you describe to me what color is your connecting cables? Most of the systems has the red, black and white colors. The setup is that the red colored cable must be connected to (+) part of Subwoofer whereas the black or white colored cable must be connected to (-) part of it. You may contact Teac for possible cable replacement of that suggestion didn't work...

3 Press the TIME SET button once more. The "hour" value blinks.

TEAC MC-DX32i suddenly the Subwoofer power light (usually blue) is amber -- and no power to the main unit....second unit this has happened to.....

I have several of these units due to being a liquidation seller, and the MOST common problem is the subs not getting any power. Next is CD Player Dying, and 3rd, unit powering, but not sending info BACK to the sub.

In any case the issue with the subwoofer is rarely the fuses. It's further up the line. So far every unit we have checked the transformer was the culprit. If you are handy, by all means replace the transformer and you're better to go.
