Don't worry, there are instructions online that will talk you through the process of converting your crib into a toddler bed. check out this article from the 'How Stuff Works' website which is really useful.

Converting an old crib to a day/toddler bed

If you're not having problems, then there's no reason to switch to the toddler bed. Once he's out of the crib, it will be much harder to get him to stay there, and that goes for naps too.

My twins were great in their cribs until they started climbing out around 16 months. Then I got these crib "tents" which go over the crib and form a large tent on top, so the toddlers can't climb out. (My kids thought they were very cool -- they are see-through).

We used these until the kids were 3 1/2 (!) and then we went straight to twin beds.

Don't convert unless you absolutely have to. If he's napping and sleeping well, don't change a thing.

Does the delta martine 3-in-1 crib convert to twin

Most convertible cribs are made to function as a standards crib, a toddler bed and a FULL size bed headboard.

If you have access to the specific model number you can go to the following link and download the user manual for the specific crib you have. The manual should explain the conversion options for the bed.

The list for user manuals is after the user information form. You do NOT need to fill our the contact form to get a user manual if your model is in the drop down list.

Hello I have a graco 3 in 1 crib that we have converted to a toddler bed and are now ready to convert to a twin bed, but I can't find the instruction manual i have a graco and have lost the instuctions on...

Most if not all of the simplicity brand drop-side cribs have been recalled, including the Graco 8740.

Here is the CPSP link regarding this crib:
http://www.cpsc.gov/CPSCPUB/PREREL/prhtml09/09260list.html
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07307.html

According to the CPSP information the company appears to be out of business to some degree and are not providing repair kits.

If you know where you purchased the crib, check to see what their policy is regarding recalled baby products.

We had purchased ours at walmart almost 8 years ago and were able to return it to another store in a different state for a full refund last summer. They did not need a receipt received, they just needed the manufacturer label on the part that the mattress lies on.

Because ours was older, the customer service clerk did have to work hard to find the crib in their system, but once she did, it was not problem at all.

Also, the bed is made to convert to a headboard for a full size bed and so it may be a little bit wide to work with a twin sized bed.

Delta luv jasmine 4852 crib 5-1......why no TODDLER bed instructions

Hello!
I understand your frustration as I have put many children's toys, cribs etc. together over the years. It appears that the extra piece that you will need will be a twin bed frame. It is not included.9b1e880.jpg
