SOURCE: Dishwasher fills with water... wont wash
usually if the motor is not kicking in then it is a blocked/seized wash motor or a broken wire somewhere from the timer to the motor. either will mean a stripdown. try checking out the motor first.
SOURCE: LXGH E5 Code
I need to check my codes to be positive. And I'll check them this weekend. But, I believe E5 is from excess water in the unit, and so it won't go into rinse and add more water.
First and most common -- the drain hose, at the back of the unit is kinked. The unit gets pushed back against the wall and kinks the line.
Second, your probes are dirty. The ones in the back right corner detect water level. Clean them with a green scrungee even if they look clean.
Good luck - Mike
SOURCE: Kitchenaide KUDM24SE1 dishwasher will not fill with water
It may be the water inlet valve or the electronic control board. To check, remove the bottom toe panel. The valve will be on the left side. There will be live power, so use extreme CAUTION. Start the DW, 1. if you can hear the valve humming or the valve coil is getting warm, replace the valve. 2. Using a device with wires to check the power at plugs, connect to valve power connection, if power is present, replace valve else replace electronic control board.
SOURCE: E5 comes up when running wash cycle
in this case e5 means too much water in the machine when it is supposed to rinse.
these machines have either a solenoid opperated drain valve or a drain pump.
could be a kinked or pluged drain hose. check this by removing the drain hose (probably red) from the drain it attaches to (probably under a sink)
put the hose in the sink or bucket and wait for it to drain, drain should be fairly powerful (hold the hose and be careful the water is hot)
if the hose is not kinked and little or no water comes out you have likley have an obstructed drain valve or a broken pump or solenoid.
at this point i would call in the pros, or you can try to fix it yourself then curse and wish you had called the pros.
good luck
Sounds like your Xbox 360 has a dirty laser, try cleaning the laser with a disc laser cleaner, you could purchase it in any electronic store, even Wal-Mart. Worst case scenario is you would have to replace the cd drive. You can purchase one from eBay; they have many of them starting from $30 US dollars, best of luck
