Sounds like a loose connection. Make sure your cables are secure. Try switching your INPUT selection on the remote to something else, for example, if you're watching cable, switch to HDMI, or A/V or something.

You can also try, if the input w/ the issues is HDMI, either swapping your cable for a new one, or swapping which HDMI input it's plugged into.

Good luck.

I have a bush tv its got sound but no picture

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Contrast really dark but seems to improve after the tv has been on several hours

Hi:
You may have a problem with the inverters in the unit, they are responsible for lighting up the back panel. Check or have checked the power supply voltage to the inverters, should be around 18-24 volts DC. Also leaky capacitors on the power supply will cause this issue as well as leaky or puffy capacitors on the inverter.

The blue power light works but the LCD screen flickers once then goes off.

Please mention the device in question as we are not able to help otherwise.
Whatever be the case remove power off ,keep aside and reset, if fault remains it is for sure a fault in the display that makes it flicker and die off, you will need a closer look with voltage parameter for a solution.
