Swop the handset for another working one and see if you have the same problem. If it nows works on then its the handset that has gone faulty. if its the same then the extension on the system that has developed a fault. If you have any spare extensions (keyphone ones that is, then just swop the plugs on the system and the faulty extension will now be a new extension and should work ok.
