Question about Uniden Cordless Phone

My phone has ansewer, but it does not beep so it can take a message. all it say's is please call again and the charger has a letter A on at all times.

Your phone is set to "Announce" mode instead of "Answer" mode. Since you neglected to specify the make and model of your Uniden cordless system I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual to learn how to switch modes.

Either your charger is not ok or your phone may have some problem.U should the charger which is designed for your phone.U may try wetting the pin of charger with a little much of saliva and then dry it and then connect the charger again.If it again shows bad contact of charger reconnect and if the problem persists then the phone may have a faultu jack.To check your jack connect phone to other charger if it again shows bad contact of charger then this is it your phone has got some problem

How to record a message on a GE digital message machine


You didn't specify the model, so I can't be absolutely certain. On most GE machines, press and hold the GREETING button, record the message at the beep, then release the button when done.

If this doesn't work, please reply to this message and specify the model of your phone/answering machine.

Why does my Nokia phone say "charger not supported?


That error message usually occurs when using an unsupported third party charger. An example would be if you bought a cheap "knock off" charger that doesn't supply the correct voltage to the phone. These messages can sometimes occur in error when using an official or supported charger.
If you're sure you're using a supported charger, there is something you can try to fix this error. First, unplug the charger from the phone and the power outlet. Turn off the phone and then remove the battery. Wait about 15 seconds and insert the battery again. Turn on the phone, and plug in the charger to the power outlet and the phone. The phone should now charge.
If it's still not working, you'll need to try to get a new charger. Sometimes, if the phone is still in warranty, you can get the charger replaced for free if it is defective.

Why does it beep every 3 minutes

Your Uniden phone is beeping because it alerting you to a message notification.

Charge your cordless; check the message; or this phone will keep beeping. Check and clear all notifications and messages, the phone will stop beeping.

the connection from your battery to your flip part is messed up your service provider will have to fix it or you will have to get a new phone more than likely....I had a phone that did exactly what you are saying and it was the connection...

Can't get the ansewering machine to work? we were gone for 3 days. When we got home the ansewering machine was not blinking, I thouht no loved me! No messages. then relatives called saying they had tried...


You might try unplugging the AC power to the unit, let it sit for 5 minutes, and reconnect the power. That sometimes resets the unit to the factory default. You can then reprogram.

Annoying beeping with every letter on a text message


You should be able to turn the keypad tones off:

Go to:

Menu;

Settings;

Phone Settings;

Phone Profiles;

'Normal' [providing your phone profile is set to 'normal'];

Now, scroll two places to the right until you are in the 'Phone sounds' tab. Select 'Keypad Tone' and turn it 'off'.
